Squirrels, woodpeckers and other animals are well known to prey on young defenceless chick inside nest boxes. These excellent 32mm hole stainless steel plates protect the chicks inside from such attacks. Fixing the plate around the hole of the nest box stops any creatures from chewing or pecking the hole to enlarge it, this therefore stops them from gaining entry into the nest box leaving the young chicks unthreatened and giving them the best chance of survival.
Easily fixed to any flat faced wooden holed nest box by four screws in each corner of the plate.
Recommended for 32mm hole nest boxes.
